About the Event
The Small Business Showcase is the brainchild of Linda Ockwell-Jenner, co-founder of the Small Business Community Network (SBCN).
The first Small Business Showcase was held at the Kitchener City Hall Rotunda in 2007 and became an instant success. It's principal aim was to provide an opportunity for small business owners to network and promote their products and services in the community. In addition to the tradeshow aspect of the event, unique roundtable sessions open to exhibitors and the general public provided another dimension to the event.

In 2008, the Small Business Showcase moved to the Waterloo Inn Conference Hotel. Exhibitor capacity was boosterd close to 100 small businesses from around the region and beyond! A lively roundtable discussion centred around the value of Social Networking in small business rounded off a highly successful event.
Last year we returned to the Waterloo Inn with extended exhibitor hours and additional value-packed seminars, ensuring the Small Business Showcase remained one of the most feature-packed business events around.

For 2010, the Small Business Showcase will take place at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex! This exciting venue is a perfect match for dynamic and energetic businesses to showcase themselves, network in style and forge new connections. We've expanded our Showase Seminars to offer even more expert knowledge to both exbitors and attendees.
Come join us, for a showcase of all that is big in small business!
